Englewood, Colo. (Aug. 26, 2009) -- Bethesda Lutheran Communities will hold its 12th annual Kirk John McGregor golf tournament on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009. The event will take place at the Meridian Golf Club in Englewood.

Registration costs for the tournament are $175, which includes 18 holes of golf, the golf cart and a Mulligan. Lunch and course refreshments, along with opportunities for raffle prizes, course contests and an auction are also included. The tournament is open to 144 people on a first come first serve basis and the registration deadline is Monday, Sept. 7.

“We are looking forward to another great day of fellowship and golf,” says Dr. John E. Bauer, president and CEO of Bethesda. “Last year a net profit of $30,000 was raised to create the MacGregor Activity Center. Funds raised this year help to maintain the center, which provides services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”

The Meridian Golf Course is a premier golfing location, featuring a Jack Nicklaus Signature course that has been recognized as one of the best golf layouts in the region.

“The excitement for our 12th annual tournament has been high and we anticipate a great turnout,” says Katey Higgins, director of special events. “We encourage all Colorado golfers to consider joining Bethesda for a fun day on the course and help support our mission through this fund raiser.”

To register, visit www.blhs.org/?golf, or contact Katey Higgins at katey.higgins@mailblc.org or 800.383.8743, ext. 4432.
