Shop History

The Green Bay shop, which opened in 1976, was one of the first thrift shops Bethesda opened in the Fox Valley area. The shop closed in 2011, but Bethesda received numerous calls from volunteers, customers and even the landlord asking us to re-open the shop. It was re-opened on April 2, 2012.

Volunteers

Volunteers of all ages are needed.  Cashiers, sorters and general retail positions are available. Other volunteer opportunities include light carpentry, building maintenance and general cleaning tasks. Volunteers can select from daily, weekly or monthly time commitments. Perfect for student, corporate, church, service and civic groups, as well as families, retirees and individuals.
