Description: Each year our special religious education committee of the Central Illinois District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod sponsors a workshop for professional, lay members, teachers, people with disabilities, parents, etc., on a topic related to being the church with persons who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. This year's workshop will be: Making Room at the Table, held at Faith Lutheran Church at 2320 N. Kickapoo St. Lincoln, IL 62656 on Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Friday evening pre-session is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the same location. The presenter is David Morstad of the Bethesda Institute for both days.
