Workers for Jesus

Mark 16:15
He [Jesus] said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” (NIV)

In our Bible verse, Jesus tells us to go into the entire world and tell others the Good News. Jesus wants us to be workers for Him in His kingdom.

Jesus calls us daily to work for Him and tell others of the Good News that He has brought to all people. Jesus calls us daily to tell others of His love. The word ‘love’ is one of the important words that help us share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

As workers for Jesus, God wants all people to love Jesus. God wants us to tell our friends and neighbors about Jesus. God wants us to love and obey Him. God helps us be kind and loving to others.

As workers for Jesus, we come to God in prayer and ask for His help.

Here are some ways God helps us share Jesus’ love. God wants all people to believe in Jesus. God wants all believers to share the Good news of Jesus’ love with others. God want all believers to obey His Commandments

Are you a worker for Jesus? Here are a few more ways we can all be workers for Jesus.

Pray for family, friends, caregivers and others who need God’s healing and comfort. Write letters or send cards to people who are sick or celebrating birthdays or have other special events in their lives. Read the Bible or Bible stories to people who cannot read. Sing Christian songs to share the joy of God’s love for others. Volunteer your time to visit people who are sick and need a friend. Give a small picture of Jesus or a cross to someone who does not know Jesus.

Can you list other ways you can become a worker for Jesus?

God has poured His love into our hearts, so that as workers for Jesus…and with the help of the Holy Spirit…we can share the Good News to all people. Let’s start today to become workers for Jesus.

Dear heavenly Father, thank You for loving us and giving Jesus to be our Savior. Help us obey Your commandments. Help us, Jesus, to show love and kindness to the people around us. Help us, Holy Spirit, to tell others the Good News of Jesus Christ and to become good workers for Jesus. Amen.
