Christ Is My All

Christ is all, and is in all. (NIV)

God sent His Son into the world to let us know of His everlasting love. In our lives each day, we see people at home, at work, out in the stores and in all places. We know that we do not always show those people that we are filled with God’s love.

We look around our world and see so many beautiful things…trees, blue skies, flowers and birds. We look around and see God’s wonderful creation, and we feel His love for us.

Do we always talk to God and feel His presence in our lives? Do we come to God in prayer? Do we know that Christ is in us and in all things?

Many of us are so busy each day that we forget that Christ is with us, and that He waits for us to call on Him. Christ is waiting for us to come to Him for peace and joy and strength and power to live godly lives, which we have in Christ. Christ is everything to us. Christ is love. Christ is forgiveness. Christ is happiness. Christ is comfort.

Doctors love to see us coming in to see them for help if we are not feeling well. Family members love it when we come to visit them. Staff welcomes us to talk to them when our day is not going well.

Christ loves us and waits for us to lean on Him…to rest in Him…to call on Him and to abide in His love. Christ is my all. He is everything we need.

Christ is my all. Let us all learn to come to Christ, live on Christ, live in Christ and let us live with Christ. Christ is all that matters, and He lives in all of us.

Dear Lord Jesus, You are all we need. Please help us make the love of Jesus everything to us, in our work and in our daily lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
