Camp Ministries

Bethesda operates five camp ministries. These programs provide campers with the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, make new friends and relax. In addition, campers and volunteers form friendships that last long after camp is over.

In summer 2011, hundreds of volunteer companions and campers with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoyed the fun and fellowship of Bethesda's camp ministries. SonRise in Anderson, Ind.; Camp Matz in Watertown, Wis.; Bethesda Mountain Builders in Woodland Park, Colo.; Bethesda Forest Adventure in Chersire, Ore.; and Camp Bethesda in Tomball, Texas, provided a Christ-centered experience for campers and companions of all ages.
