Five Spectacular Ways to Volunteer at Night to Shine

When you volunteer at Night to Shine, you ensure the event is a perfect prom-night experience for people with disabilities.

Night to Shine is a prom-night experience for people with developmental disabilities, centered on God’s love, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation.

To make sure the night goes perfectly on February 10, 2017, we need 700 volunteers at the Bethesda presented Night to Shine in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and 300 volunteers at the Bethesda presented Night to Shine in Centennial, Colorado.

Volunteer opportunities vary from assisting the florist, to spending time entertaining guests, to helping the caterers prepare food for the guests. Of the nearly 30 volunteer opportunities at Night to Shine, here are a few exciting volunteer roles you can be part of:

Buddy Team

Accompany and assist assigned guest throughout the evening, providing companionship and any assistance they may need during the event. Sit with the guest during dinner, engage with them in conversation and enjoy time on the dance floor together.

Social Media Photography Team

Take high quality photos and short videos for social media. These volunteers follows the same content guidelines as the professional photography team.

Red Carpet Team

Assist guests as they make their way down the red carpet, manage flow of traffic and cheer them on to help them feel welcomed.

Respite Room Team

Love on the parents/caretakers by serving food, spending time getting to know them and being available to pray with them.

Primp Room Team

Welcome each guest to a salon station to get their hair, makeup and nails done, or to get a shoe shine. Chat with them while you pamper them and make them feel special.

Sign up to volunteer for Night to Shine, today. Not only will it make a difference for people with disabilities, it'll change your life, too.
